Hello Siestas and Familia

So tell me what did you all do all weekend? I was as busy as a bee. We spent alot of time- cleaning the house and getting things working right. Sam, his dad, and his brother all spent Saturday afternoon giving the AC System a good well over due cleaning, while Maria and I made Homemade Strawberry Jam!!

So we were productive- we also did our flower bed, planted more seedlings, and weeded some of the yard.

what did you do?

  1. Angie,

It was one of those weekends where it was gone in the blink of an eye and got nothing accomplished! I'm glad you had a productive weekend. And homemade jam! Wow, I am impressed!!

  2. Angie,

Do you by chance need anymore children? I am availible, I know how to eat, sleep, and be a first class tast tester.

You make me tired just reading what you did all weekend.

You have way more enegry that I do.

Your reward is coming. When the children are all grown, and their favorite memories all will start with "do you remember when we"...your heart just melts.

So how is the church hunt going? I know that this is one of the hardest parts of moving. Stay faith filled, God has a plan and a place just for you and your family. I am praying for you.

  3. I'm sorry I haven't been back to visit! I just told my sister I want to go pick Strawberries! They won't be ready here in Michigan until June 15th! This weekend we have several high school graduation parties! I am not sure if they do them in the south, but here they go all out! Should be full of a lot of food and fun! We are finally having some heat so I am happy!
    Much love to you,
    Angie xoxo

p.s. Thank you for your kind words for my nephew! You are so thoughtful!

Whisperings

Some of you know I have lots of children. Seven to be exact, and most of them are older and Most of them are young men except for one boy.   Lately one of my youngmen have been struggling. He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "

Day two

still trying to get the routine established But I am so grateful I have this privilege to disciple these two and guide these two in their education. Thank you Lord Angie
