Happy Birthday to My beloved, My friend, My husband -Sam

Today is my beloved, my best friend, my soul-mate's birthday. This post is a tribute to him- to all he is to me. He truly is the best thing that ever happened to me. He walked into my life in a time when I did not know what love was or even understand what it truly meant. Like most YOUNG and STUPID young people, I thought love was more of a feeling then an act that was to be shown through my words and action every day. He showed me through his loyalty, and love what it meant to be married.(he continues to do so)

He is the most hardworking person I have ever known. He truly is a great provider. I have never had my electricity turned off, car taken, phone turned off, by the grace of God. Samuel has lived his life- providing for me and our 6 children. He truly believes that burden is his to bare, mandated by God- to work, and provide.

He is a servant to all who know him, as well as him family. As he sees in scriptures as Jesus lead his disciples through servanthood, he believes that he leads our family best- by serving each of us.

He is truly the father I prayed for as a child. What a blessing he is to each one of my children! He is strong, consistent, loving and most of Gracious- all the things we see in our Heavenly Father- I see manifesting through my beloved, friend and soul-mate-Sam!

Happy Birthday to the most Amazing, loving Man I have ever known or met!

Love you!

He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "
