Trust in the Lord

In a time where hope seems to be diminishing with the pains and struggles of life, Psalm 31 reminds us that we SHOULD trust the Lord with all things. He will give us strength and lead us if we will commit ourselves to Him.

Psalm 31

“1In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

2Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defense to save me.

3For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.

4Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.

5Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.”

The Lord can walk us through whatever it is we are struggling with if we only ask. As He leads us in His truth and ways, He will give us strength for His glory. He will pull us out of the “net” of our circumstances .

As we seek to find HOPE again let us commit our trust in the Lord and find our Hope only in Him.

Psalm 31:24

“Be of good courage , and He shall strengthen your heart, all you that  HOPE in the Lord.”

Let this be your prayer today!

Whisperings

Some of you know I have lots of children. Seven to be exact, and most of them are older and Most of them are young men except for one boy.   Lately one of my youngmen have been struggling. He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "
