What do you do…

What do you do when you feel like screaming- STOP don’t you see the pain you are causing in your words and ungodliness?

What do you do when you want to JUST RUN AS FAST and as far from the evil as you can?

WHAT DO YOU DO…

Jesus stated that persecution will come on his account,

Jhn 15:20
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Mar 13:13
And ye shall be hated of all [men] for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

As you walk with the Lord, living His Word in your life  persecution is something we all must face. Christ loved others above himself- praying for those who persecuted him, and blessing them, and beseeching the Lord to forgive them.

Luk 23:34
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Rom 12:14
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Through his great sacrifice-His death He showed us how to love others. Loving others, praying and blessing  those who persecute you were commandments given to the children of the Lord.

Mat 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Why???

Mat 5:45
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

We are the children of our Heavenly Father. Are we not to emulate the attributes of our Lord?

How ?

how do you love the ones that persecute you?

How do you pray for them that spitefully use you?

How do you Love your enemies?

Mat 5:46
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Mat 5:47
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more [than others]? do not even the publicans so?

It is so easy to love ones who love us back- but what about the one who is causing evil in your life, what about the “thorn in your flesh” or the one you just want to run from.

How do you- the way Christ did- on our knees in prayer, making a decision each day to love and bless in any circumstance!

Whisperings

Some of you know I have lots of children. Seven to be exact, and most of them are older and Most of them are young men except for one boy.   Lately one of my youngmen have been struggling. He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "

Day two

still trying to get the routine established But I am so grateful I have this privilege to disciple these two and guide these two in their education. Thank you Lord Angie
