Searching for a home..

We are in the mad hunt for a home. The home that we are currently in we must vacate from by June 1st. Which leaves us in the position of trying to find the right house, in the right area, in the right neighborhood.

I always get discouraged when I am placed in this situation. I love having a big family, actually I want more children, but the world does not like big families. There have been times when I have called on homes and people have asked how many people will be living in the home, and as soon as they find out I have 6 children they hang up on me. Isn’t that crazy?

Having lots of children use to be a honor to one, now people look at you like you are crazy when you say you have 6 and desire more. I don’t look at children as a curse but a blessing to ones future and heritage.

My children are the legacy I am leaving in this world. The more of them there are the more of me is left here for the kingdom of Christ.

So dear saints I am quiet because of all the things I have to do in a day and then go see homes. Please pray for me, my family, for favor in the eyes of others. Also stick with me- once we move and things are settled I will be back to regular “Word from the Word” Wordless Wednesdays, and all those other things I love to blog.

I love you all dear Saints of Christ

Angie

  1. Angie,

Will be lifting your requests up in prayer for you. I am confident that God has just the right home in mind for you. You just haven't gotten there yet!

  2. I'm praying for you. We are in process of moving to another state. Our lease is up June 30th. My husband has a job lined up, but it's not official because he doesn't have the piece of paper stating it. I called on a rental that would be perfect for us, but she needs that proof. Urgh! It's been a long week.
Keep me in prayer and I'm praying for you my friend :)

Whisperings

Some of you know I have lots of children. Seven to be exact, and most of them are older and Most of them are young men except for one boy.   Lately one of my youngmen have been struggling. He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "

Day two

still trying to get the routine established But I am so grateful I have this privilege to disciple these two and guide these two in their education. Thank you Lord Angie
