Time...

Seems to me I don't have enough of it these days. Summer has hit here in Texas. The sun is bright and the temps are very warm. Last summer I spent my days in doors, not enjoying the blessings the Lord has given. Not enjoying the beach that is only an hour away. This year I am determined not to do the same thing, so we have gone to the beach at least once a week, and the pool a few times a week. It helps fill the days and make them go by quickly. We fly out Friday to spend two weeks with my family.  The long anticipated vacation is now here. Please pray for us as we travel and as we are there.  We would like the Lord to give us strength and words

up and running again..

The most frustrating thing about cyber space is the fact that others feel the need to "hack" or "destroy" what you have built.  I struggle with understanding the philosophy behind it all. It is the fact that they are able to do it. Does it give them some rush or make them feel superior to everyone else.. The sad part is all it does it make people feel the need to either remove themselves from the internet completely or beef up security. Either way- you can't trust anyone! As you can see my blog has been restored.. by the grace of God it won't happen again. But in cyberspace there is NO guarentees! Following Hard After Christ Angie

My prayer

The Lord of hosts is the God of the Sam Sellers family, even a God to the Sam Sellers family: and let the House of Sam thy servant be established before thee. For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray to thee. And now, Lord, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant. Now therefore let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be before thee for ever: for thou blessest, O Lord, and it shall be blessed forever.

What to do when you don’t know what to do?

Sermon by Pastor Barefield When you don’t know what to do-God Does! Read: 2 Chronicles 20 What does your eyes , your ears , your mouth have to do with getting you out of the situation? What to do when you don’t know what to do?? 1. Look to God in prayer Lift your eyes toward the Lord in prayer 2 Chronicle 20:12 Tell God.  Real prayer is a matter of seeking God! Some prayer is done with fasting. 2. Listen to God through preaching This is what you do with your ears . 2 Chronicles 20:13-15 (Thus sayeth the Lord) God always has a word for every situation!!! Annointed- Assigned- Affirmation-preaching- are all three signs of preaching that gets into people’s hearts. 3. Lift up God with Praise this is what you do with your mouth . 2 Chronicles 20:18-22 The people of God praised the Lord. We are to praise His Holy Name, expecting an answered prayer!     Keep your eyes lifted, your ears open to God’s Word, and your mouth/ voice singing praises
