Daily Scripture and thoughts

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. (Psalm 19:14 ESV)

This verse happens to be one of my favorites. I recite it often in prayer as a reminder of the things I desire to come from my heart and life. I desire for my life to emulate the heart of Christ. I want people to look at me and say " there is something different about her!"

Remember our mouths can manifest the things of our heart as well as our actions. You can say how much you appreciate something or someone but manifest something completely different as far as your actions. Example: I appreciate my parents so much, but would I be showing them that appreciation if I treated them with disdain, dislike or even disrespect?
Words can be empty or even hurtful if they are empty.

The Lord desires for us to be people of true meaning. He desires for the Words of our mouth and the meditation of hearts to manifest Him.

What is the meditations of our hearts? Do we rebuke negative thoughts and the enemy that is bound to see you sin or turn from The Lord and your family?

Be careful because the enemy's desire is to see you fall so that this prayer is not true in your life.

Be strong in The Lord!

Daily Scripture and Thoughts

“Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. (Matthew 5:5 ESV)

Meekness- what is it? And how do you display it.
Websters 1828 defines it- softness of temper, mildness, gentleness, forbearance under injuries and provocations.

Softness in any situation can bring about any situation to the benefit of the people involved. When you deal with people in harshness and anger then they are uncooperative and rebellious.

Hence why a person with meekness who drives for it in their lives will inherit the earth.

Show meekness today as you gather with family-

Happy Thanksgiving

Shoulders that can not hold the weight

As I grow older I have realized one thing that as a woman I do not have the shoulders to bare all the burdens of my home. The need of my beloved husband, his strength and ability to shoulder the needs of our family, provide, and lead in strength that is given to him by our Lord. I am weak, emotional, and incapable to handle the pressures. My mind reminds me constantly of scripture.. I will never leave you or forsake you... or The birds of the air do not worry where their food shall come from.. why should those who are His worry? as a Father  cares for his children so will our Heavenly Father care for you... I know these scriptures. They are in my heart but I can not seem to get my heart, worries and fears, to line up with what I know and truly believe to be true.

It shows my weakness as a woman- as the weaker vessel. So what do I do? Get angry or admit I am incapable... truly I know in so many ways I am incapable of doing what my beloved does. I often fear being left here alone to bare these burdens. I stand and watch as he struggles to walk, and provide for his family each day as his body deteriates before us. What do I do? I am capable and able to work.. but then conviction grieves my heart as I know I have been called to be the Keeper of my Home, not the provider. I look at my two littles ones- and I realize the extreme mistakes I made with the other ones- and wonder- LORD HOW DO I FIX IT??  I find myself on the very same path as the one I was on...

The Lord through many situations has proven that He is Worthy. Even if He would not have shown His face through provision , by the very sacrifice He was willing to bare for my sins, is enough for me to know where my help comes from. So I ask why do I allow these fears to overcome me?

Lord my desire is to rely on you completely. I desire to not allow the enemy to use my fears and doubts to control me. Lord Help me in this season as I seek to do Your Will and bless those you would have me bless. Lord my desire is to care for my children, to give them your Word, to help them in who they are to be in you...

Lead me not into temptation... Give me strength.. and THANK YOU Lord for the blessings that my BELOVED is and has been for me.

Daily Scripture and Thoughts

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. (Matthew 7:1, 2 ESV)

This is often quoted by believers- as an excuse for others not to hold each other accountable in their sin. This verse is not telling you that you are not to keep brothers and sisters accountable, what it is reminding us of is our hearts condition,We are to be reminded that when we are holding one another accountable we are not to deem ourselves better than they are. All are wretched on the eyes of God!

Also when we are looking upon a sinner- remember though their sin is wretched in the eyes of God and sometimes is not very pretty for us to look at either.  You stood in that same wretchedness at one time...

Who are you passing judgement on? Or have you passed judgement on?
Remember that same judgement we pass on others will be the measure of judgement that will be given to us-
Be careful

Daily Scripture and Thoughts

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39 ESV)

Love The Lord with all heart, soul and mind- who does that? Who truly loves the Lord with all their heart, soul, and mind?? Doing that would mean- you have taken self out of the way. You have submitted yourself an your flesh and have forsaken fleshly desires.
To love The Lord your God in this manner- He is your everything. He is your all in all- In that he enables you to to love your neighbor. See we can not love your neighbor, can not love the brethren, we can not love others as ourselves unless we understand and love The Lord as He has commanded in this verse. So if we do not have the first part down. We will not and can not have the second part down.

If we can not love our parents- whether they have wronged us or not then we do not love The Lord our God with all our heart, soul and mind.

Dear Ones- loving is a commandment... we do not have an option whether to love or not. And we can not pick and choose those we want to love and those we will not love based on decisions they have made for or against us. WE HAVE TO LOVE-
Is there someone in your life that The Lord has placed before you to love and forgive and you have not doing that?? You have made no effort because the enemy has convinced you dont have to? I plead with you to submit your heart today and Love The Lord as you have been called and in turn Love others as you have been called.

Love is a decision we each must make-- and sometimes Loving someone hurts.

Daily thoughts in Scripture

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. (Romans 15:13 ESV)

We must believe in the Words of our Lord. We must come to a place of understanding that everything that is said out of the mouth of God- we stand on. We must believe that the Lord can fill us with joy and peace so that we may abound  in hope. All this comes from believing in the Word of God but it's only through the power of the Holy Spirit within us that we are able to understand or even have the ability to be filled.

None of this will make sense if you are not a believer and do not have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit!

Seek Him Dear Ones because truly He is your strength and your hope.
