Daily scripture and thoughts

Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious to me and answer me! (Psalm 27:7 ESV)

This prayer almost seems like a pray of desperation. A cry out pleading for the Lord to answer when He calls. How many times have we done that? We see ourselves in a place of desperation, often times because we have placed ourselves there, and we need to hear a Word from the Lord. We need to hear his voice, for direction, counsel, only when we need it. What about the time all is well? What about the times when we are good and life is good, do we call on His name then?

Dear Ones- our Lord, heavenly Father is the best counselor, best parent and best to seek advice from. He has the truth in Him. He will always steer you towards righteousness, He will guide you towards purity of heart. He will always be sure that you live according to His Word. Too many times the advice we seek feeds the flesh and keeps you from changing or displaying the full truth.

Cry out to our Lord. He knows already!

He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "
