Daily Scripture and Thoughts

I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. (1 Corinthians 1:10 ESV)

Dear Ones
This verse makes me very sad because in no way in Christiandom are we united. We are so divided in so many ways just as enemy would have us. In our divided state we are  ineffective for the kingdom. Reaching the lost, instead of being the task of every believer is left to those who diligently seek it like the Mormons or Jehovah Witness. Marriage has become a covenant of mockery. Loving one another as Christ loved us consist of people talking about each other and slandering one another. Grace instead of so freely given has to be earned with money or actions.

Lord forgive us. We have a responsibility as we see truth to live it and one is to unite our hearts as believers with one another. To love one another as Christ loved us... To bring the light of the Gospel to all we know.

Lord as you reveal truth our hearts send your Spirit so we may live that truth in our lives. Help us to unite our hearts as one and to glorify your name together. In Jesus Name Amen

He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "
