Daily Scripture and thoughts

And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. (Colossians 1:17, 18 ESV)

Dear Ones
What a gift we receive from knowing that the Lord was before all things and all things are held together in Him. As we walk through life the sin and chaos of this world makes us wonder:

 what is it all about?
What is life?
Truly is there one who is holding and guiding us all?

It is such a great thought that it baffles our minds. Truly if you are a believer and you find comfort in His Word, then this Word will bring you peace in knowing that He is the Beginning, the first born from the dead, the Head of the Church and HE truly is the one guiding you to HIM!! Woo-hoo give a shout of praise because truly it is a comforting thought. A thought knowing that though I am sinner, though I am unworthy of Him, though I have done nothing to deserve His Grace, Mercy or Love, He knew me before I was born and continues to guide me towards Him!!

Lord there are so many things we do not understand but truly if we believe in You and trust in you, we don't need to. We sing praises to you for all you are, all you have done and all you are going to do.
In Jesus Name
Amen

He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "
