Daily scripture and thoughts

The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. (John 1:9, 10 ESV)

Dear Ones
The true Light- Christ gives light to everyone- the world did not know Him.

It is always amazing to me how much has not changed since Jesus' feet touch the ground of this earth. The world is the same today. They still do not know Him. They want to make Him into an image they are able to worship. They want to make Him injust. They desire to make Him feminine instead of mighty, and strong with gentleness for those who are called by His name. Jesus is who we want Him to be when we want Him to be, and how we went Him to be. Instead of allowing Him to be our Lord of all!

He is the one true Light!

Stop wondering around in the dark seeking something to fill the void and emptiness that only Christ can fill.

Thank you Lord that through Christ you brought light to our lives and hope to our hearts. Help us to reflect on you and your Word today. We need you Lord and need your Word to guide us to the truth.

Open our hearts and eyes! In Jesus Name Amen

He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "

Day two
