Daily Scripture and Thoughts

For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:10, 11 ESV)

Dear Ones

There is nothing better than being in the presence of our Lord. The feeling of comfort you receive in His presence, knowing that even in state of turmoil, or in the midst of the storm that when you are in His Presence you find peace and strength.

No good thing does HE withhold from those who walk uprightly-- He loves you dear ones and desires to bless you with all HIS Word promises. This has nothing to do with materialism or money- this has everything to do with HIM. Money can not buy love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, and faithfulness. These are His gifts to us as we walk according to His Word and His Ways denying our flesh and unrighteousness.

We can not have the good things of His Word if we choose to live for us, our flesh, and not seek Him.

Lord we are a stubborn people who desire to have Your peace, and gifts within the Word, without submitting. Forgive us Father and have mercy on our souls.Open eyes that need to be opened. Help us to see into our own wretched hearts.

In Jesus Name AMEN!!!

He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "
