Integrity

image-2

Walking in integrity, what does that mean? According to the dictionary, it means adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. The problem in this world, as you seek to walk according to this scripture, is people do not desire honesty. They do not want to walk in adherence to a moral or ethical principle. They interpret scripture according to their understanding and not the discernment of the Holy Spirit. Most are just attending church without any manifestation in their lives of the grace which is granted in their lives.

This scripture points out that one who walks in that integrity, his children are then blessed by the very fact that he or she desires to walk according to moral or even ethical principle- but are they? Too often the standard children have are what they see in the world, not what is set by the Word. They want parents who turn a blinds eye to sin, who do not challenge them, or guide them or discipline them. They want a "friend" and not a parent. But what children do not see, or even realize is, that parents are accountable before a Holy Righteous Loving God, who is also Judge, for everything they did or did not do to bring you up according to the Will and Glory of God.

Let us seek to live out this word in our lives. By walking according to the heart of God, glorify Christ in all we do.

Thank you for walking with me on this journey.

Angie

Whisperings

Some of you know I have lots of children. Seven to be exact, and most of them are older and Most of them are young men except for one boy.   Lately one of my youngmen have been struggling. He works at an amusement park, and is around people all day long who standards, or morals do not quite match what we(through God's grace) have tried to instill in him. All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "
