It has been a year and 7 days

I cant believe a year has passed since my beloved was ordained as an Elder of our church. SO much has happened since that day-- In short recap of this year in service one thing is for sure- with every triumph and spiritual blessing came many attacks. The attacks hit us from every side and the very people in our lives that we knew would sin and be used are those ones who were used. Our names- our testimony, our very walk with Christ has been tried and challenged. Yet we continue to walk forward -- not looking down at our very HEAVY feet but UP towards heaven seeking the ONLY face that can bring peace to the hearts of His children Happy Anniversary my beloved--- May The Lord continue to strengthen you. May He continue to use you as ONLY HE can and may the truth continue to reign supreme from who you are and what you do in your life. May our family continue to be HIS living testimony. May we glorify the name of Jesus and not bring shame to his name!!! In Christ--- Your WIfe Angie

Gardening

In todays society and the mass production of food we are NOT getting the nutrients that we should be. Our body is starving for "real" food. Not just mass produced foods that have been genetically altered to grow faster and have absolutely NO tasted to them and no nutrients either. Have you ever bought a tomatoes from the store and you slice in it- it is white inside and has no taste.. well welcome to a mass produced society that would rather have things quickly then support farmers. On the AHEAD blog Susan shares some her experiences on gardening. AHEAD Learning and growing is one of the many blessing that Lord has given us. It is truly time for us to return ourselves back to some old "fashion" ways- Gardening bares so much fruit if you put some energy into it. Angie

fantastic fathers....

I wasn't raised with a fantastic father. Actually most of my issues come from the fact that the man who was suppose to protect me, keep me secure and love me was the same man who beat me,raped me and took advantage of my youth and stole my innocence. NO I have no idea what a fantastic father is like. I am blessed to know and have fantastic husband and a fantastic father of my children, so I do know what one should look like but to experience myself, have one treat me as my husband treats his, or love me as one should- NOPE thats NOT ME. This video that was created by a man shows what a father's heart and prayers should be like. A Dad's letter to his new born daughter So many of us miss the mark- we forget how important it is to impart blessings over our children from the day of their first breathe. This does not come easy. It is human nature for us to see all the negative. To share all the things that need to be fixed and dwell on the imperfect instead of rejoicing in the...

Celebration of New Life

I love baby showers- it shows the blessing bestowed in ones life and the privilege the Lord bestowed on them to gift them with a child. It is sad to me that we are in a society who views children as an inconvenience, a nuance, burden or even worse a pain. Oh believe me as a momma- children are a challenge.  A challenge to your flesh, patience and character, but the blessing out weighs the challenges they bring. Have you thought about how the Lord decided to shine his face upon you and deemed you worthy enough to bestow you with a gift of a child. He saw you fit enough to reproduce, bring forth life and gave you the privilege to rear that child in the way he or she should go in His righteousness. Who are we to be given such a gift?? Who are we to deem ourselves worthy enough to bring a child into this world? Are we truly so arrogant to think that life in its creation is in our hands? Well let me tell you dear ones, if the creation of life was in my hands to control I would be pregnant ri...
