My new bible bag…

My new bible purse… What do you think?

My weekend…

My weekend was spent at home catching up on things that I am never able to do during the week. I baked bread Saturday, made knocks-blocks(which we call knock out blocks), and coconut cookies(healthy snack full of protein), and I re-covered  my rocking chair. I should have taken a before photo- but here is an after photo-   I love how it turned out. Sunday- the men worked all day- so I spent the day listening to sermons and cutting out material for cloth napkins. They turned out great. so now we are not only have something pretty to put on the table but also eco-friendly!  I had busy hands, what did you do this weekend?

Large family Toothbrush Holder

Ugh toothbrush holders, I get so frustrated with them because one they do not make them for large families, two if you get it with predrilled holes they do not make the holes big enough for some of the toothbrushes on the market. I had taken to putting the toothbrushes in this basket NASTY- the toothbrushes touch, the basket gets wet-UGH. I was determined to do something about it so I went online in search for a large family homemade toothbrush holder. The search took me to this blog Home Full of Boys and this wonderful and smart person made a family toothbrush holder out of a hand towel.  Hand Towel Toothbrush holder Post . So here was my solution to the basket mess! Yes I embroidered the Sellers Family on there and modified it to hang off of a hanger. I am using a small curtain hanger, it is not quite the hanger I was wanting but it will do for now! What do you think?

Bible Purse…

Often times I buy a bible cover for my bible- but when you have more than one that can bet a bit pricey- so I decided to see if there was a pattern online. There was not pattern but there was instructions, so by following those instructions- I made my first bible purse- and it actually has straps long enough that you can carry your bible like a purse.. It is cool.   Notice how my model- Reia- can strap that bible right on her shoulder.       Aww a perfect fit! See how snug the bible is in the case?!! GREAT- thanks Reia!

the project is done!

It is official friends my big project for the season is complete! I finished the quilt! What do you think? I wish you all could see it in person. I hand sewed the binding on in the back, the quilting part I sewed in between each block, but to reinforce it I sewed around the photos and free hand sewed on the machine around each tree! I am so glad it is over~ As I hand sewed the last part- I prayed over the quilt. Asking the Lord to bless it- to let her receive it with joy- to realize the measure of the project and the love that was put into it. well I am off to work on more things! Love In Christ Angie

Noah's slippers

I made these in less than 2 hours- they are so cute on his feet and actually look warm- that Daddy requested a pair similar! Love In Christ Angie

Sammy's project

This is so cool, made for me by Sammy! It is a crochet case!!! He did a great job! Angie

The quilt is pinned

The quilt is now pinned- my largest project ever- I will be honest- I will be glad when it 100% completely done- so I can concentrate on other things! (like my nieces quilt and other projects) Ok- what do you think? Glitter Text Generator

My hardest Christmas project!

This is the hardest project I have ever made! This is a poncho that me and my son Sammy made for my sister and gave it to her for Christmas-last year.

another project complete!

Ok I have finished another project- this one came out better than the first one!!! I love it- if I was into pink I would keep for myself, but I am not, so I wont!
Ok Christmas- is always a time I try to get creative. Our budget does not change just because it is Christmas time. So making things- is what we like to do- here is my first finished projected. A crocheted belt- for Sam's sister- with rhinesones(not real of course) Maria loved it! I hope she does!

My shirt I made

I found this pattern this summer- and it seemed really easy to put together. I was right. It was so simple- and turns out so nice! I love it! This will be my Thanskgiving shirt!
