Noah and his accomplishment.

New accomplishments occur each week and this week it is sitting up on his own. I can not believe that he is that big. We all seem to not be able to get enough of him. We enjoy seeing his accomplishments as much as he enjoys doing them.

What has been up with all of you? For us we are going through some spiritual battles trying to find in what direction the Lord has us going. We are also battling with the decision of what to do with our housing situation. Our lease is up on the first of June so we are praying for a house really soon, would you join us in that.

All the children are busy with schooling as well as soccer. We are considering doing a monthly family newsletter. I think it would be great for the children's writing skills as well it will help keep all those who do not read my blog more informed in our lives. Yes my blog is for only you special ones!

Assignment - This week I would like you to post any prayer requests you have. What is going on in your life that you need prayer warriors for? When this assignment came through I was going to share  prayer request for a much needed rental home, and new job for my beloved, but in a blink of an eye those things were no longer a concern. Traditions…

At this time of the year everyone is filled with traditions. Things they do every year  to prepare their hearts to celebrate the greatest, and truest meaning of this season- celebrating the Birth of our Savior. We are no exception.. we started this tradition last year. Our hearts were to focus ourselves completely on what we are celebrating and why we are celebrating it so every evening, we light these candles…   gather around the table to read the scripture for the night, we sing the corresponding carol/hymn, then daddy reads a story. The story normally goes with which every figure we must pull and set up for our nativity scene. So far this is what we have out: The Donkey was first- because he carried Mary to Bethlehem, then the cow- was probably in the stable, the sheep were probably brought by the Shepherds who came to see the Savior, and then the Shepherd.
