Ok- Siestas

Hello ladies.. I am slowly working my way through lesson Three. I do have some good excuses for my "slow" process. If a busy life is acceptable then that is what I have had the last two days. 
Yesterday I had to go shopping and those Siestas that are from Texas know that in some places that can be an all day thing. 

Today we had some fun, I took my children to go Blackberry picking for the first time ever. We had so much fun!!
Here is some photos of my  Babes picking blackberries. I will tell you I had a hard time even with the big ones keeping them out of their mouth!!

Ok I was going to add photos but my internet won't let me so I will try tomorrow...

    Angie,

    With six children and home schooling, you don't need any excuses for going slowly!!! I remember when my parents and I used to go blackberry picking. That is wonderful that you took them!! And, yes, I totally know about grocery shopping! HEB is an all day adventure here! :)

Hello all...

Hello my Siesta(Beth Moore's word for Sisters-Love it)  I have decided to start this online bible Blog Study that Preacher's Wife  wrote. It has already started my wheels turning in my mind and heart. The very first question:  Are there any circumstances or relationships in your life where you can see God has intentionally placed you? What is the meaning of family or extended family to you?

One of the things about moving to Texas that we were "excited" about was the thought of having "all the family" here.(actually extended family) Grandma,grandpa,  Sam's brothers, and sister are all here.  Well we have been here almost 6 months now. I guess the newness of us being here has worn off, because we do not receive  phone calls, text messages, or emails of;" what are you all doing this weekend?"  " Do you want to get together?"  It has turned out to be just like any other time we lived in close vicinity of each other.
