Meet my new daughter in Christ- Maria- I picked her because and for my own precious Maria! I hope that this Maria will love us as much as I already  love her!

I am not an impulsive person- but this child cried to my heart. I was on the LPM blog reading Melissa’s entry about meeting the children she has been sponsoring. The children shared how Melissa’s $32.00 a month donation clothed, fed and cared for them. $32.00- what is it to us/ American’s pocket change?

    We've been looking into sponsoring a child as well for the past 2 months. All of them tug at my heart, but we're still searching.

Hello all...

Hello my Siesta(Beth Moore's word for Sisters-Love it)  I have decided to start this online bible Blog Study that Preacher's Wife  wrote. It has already started my wheels turning in my mind and heart. The very first question:  Are there any circumstances or relationships in your life where you can see God has intentionally placed you? What is the meaning of family or extended family to you?

One of the things about moving to Texas that we were "excited" about was the thought of having "all the family" here.(actually extended family) Grandma,grandpa,  Sam's brothers, and sister are all here.  Well we have been here almost 6 months now. I guess the newness of us being here has worn off, because we do not receive  phone calls, text messages, or emails of;" what are you all doing this weekend?"  " Do you want to get together?"  It has turned out to be just like any other time we lived in close vicinity of each other.
