Stop and Pray with the MOB Society

Having boys can be challenging to a mama in every way possible. It hurts our hearts sometimes. How do you pray for your sons? do you pray just for protection? or do you pray they stay out of trouble?

I pray for more than that for my sons. I desire for their hearts to live for the Lord. I desire for them to not be part of the status quo. Exceptional men of God is what I am rearing, and praying for. Men who love the Lord and go as far as die for Christ if need be. Men who are leaders of their homes, wash their wives in the Word, and disciple their children to love the Lord with all their hearts.

Isnt much to ask is it??  Nothing is hard for the Lord!

Hello all...

Hello my Siesta(Beth Moore's word for Sisters-Love it)  I have decided to start this online bible Blog Study that Preacher's Wife  wrote. It has already started my wheels turning in my mind and heart. The very first question:  Are there any circumstances or relationships in your life where you can see God has intentionally placed you? What is the meaning of family or extended family to you?

One of the things about moving to Texas that we were "excited" about was the thought of having "all the family" here.(actually extended family) Grandma,grandpa,  Sam's brothers, and sister are all here.  Well we have been here almost 6 months now. I guess the newness of us being here has worn off, because we do not receive  phone calls, text messages, or emails of;" what are you all doing this weekend?"  " Do you want to get together?"  It has turned out to be just like any other time we lived in close vicinity of each other.
