Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7, 8 ESV)

Dear Ones

You can not pray for favor from God and be in sin against His Word. Sex out of marriage, lies, manipulation, have become a daily normalcy in Christians lives. A normalcy within the church but it is sin.

This scripture is clear that you can not sow into your flesh(sin) and reap anything but corruption - disobeying the Word is not an option.

Just the same if you sow to The Spirit glorifying God with your body and actions then your reward from The Spirit is eternal life.

Which do you prefer?

Lord help us to see your truth,to desire after The Spirit and to desire the rewards of eternal life. It takes us against ,the here, the now, and the constant satisfying of our own flesh. Lord help us to see what we reap we sow!

Thank you Father for your everlasting Word.

Assignment - This week I would like you to post any prayer requests you have. What is going on in your life that you need prayer warriors for? When this assignment came through I was going to share prayer request for a much needed rental home, and new job for my beloved, but in a blink of an eye those things were no longer a concern. A truly serious, and sobering matter occurred. I was not sure how to share with all of you this matter- and how desperate I was. I was not sure how to even lift my eyes towards heaven for fear that he would not hear me, or not even want what I was wanting. I was not sure I could handle a loss of my child. Hello my Siesta(Beth Moore's word for Sisters-Love it) I have decided to start this online bible Blog Study that Preacher's Wife wrote. It has already started my wheels turning in my mind and heart. The very first question: Are there any circumstances or relationships in your life where you can see God has intentionally placed you? Yes- many! A few grow heavy in my heart! What is the meaning of family or extended family to you?

One of the things about moving to Texas that we were "excited" about was the thought of having "all the family" here.(actually extended family) Grandma,grandpa, Sam's brothers, and sister are all here. Well we have been here almost 6 months now. I guess the newness of us being here has worn off, because we do not receive phone calls, text messages, or emails of;" what are you all doing this weekend?" " Do you want to get together?"
