Daily scriptures and thoughts

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! (Psalm 95:1, 2 ESV)

Rejoicing in The Lord, singing to Him true praise and thanksgiving. We have heard how we are to give thanks in all things? Let me ask you how do you give thanks when you have no job and no way of getting providing?

How do give thinks when you hear of all the evil in this world?

How do give thanks in all things?

Dear ones giving thanks should not be mandated or directed by our circumstances. Giving thanks should be directed by how much we love our Lord and Savior. Too many times we allow how we feel to interfere with how we give thanks and how we praise the  King of Kings! Sunday mornings we allow how good the music is to direct how we praise. In situations we allow whether the situation is positive or negative affect how we praise Him.

Do you realize how selfish that is?

Through all things He is always worthy to be praised!

All day long he is whispered at about what he should have, and what he should be doing at "his age".  Today while reading the Word these verses stood out.... Proverbs 23 15  My son, if thine heart be wise, my heart shall rejoice, even mine. 16  Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things. 17  Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the  Lord  all the day long His heart started to "envy" what these whisperers were saying to him and started to feel like he has been missing out on something in life.  Really?  How do we envy sinners?  How do we as professing believers say "
